While I was busy waiting on Keith to call I failed to realize I had out of town guests that had drove up for my birthday from back home. There was one of my best friends, Tosh, her boyfriend, and his 2 friends, one of which was interested in me. His name was Fred and he was so not attractive, but my bestie had begged me to be nice since he had agreed to drive her up for my birthday.
When I got up and showered on the day I had taken off, the group was bored and wanted to do something, I wanted to lay down and get my life back together but they weren't having it. So we all gathered in Fred's SUV (the three guys, me, Tosh, and my friend Dawn) and headed to an amusement park for the day. Just what I needed right, a bunch of roller coasters knocking my already pounding head around!
When we got there surprisingly Fred bought me a seasons pass ticket and so did the other guys for us gals. Awwww wasn't that nice! I opened up an actually chatted with him and while he wasn't the cutest he was a sweetheart, we had a ball all day in the park and rode everything. Afterwards we stopped at a restaurant to eat and then back to my apartment. I headed straight to the shower, the next day was Wednesday and I could NOT call in again, so I told them I was headed for bed. Everyone groaned so Dawn agreed to take them out to a bar for drinks and my bestie Tosh opted to stay in with me being she was the one who would be driving the SUV back in the morning. I fell out to la la land in no time and before I knew it was time to get up for work. Fred woke up to chat before I had to take off and we exchanged numbers. All day at work we texted back and forth and i no longer cared what he looked like because his personality stole my heart!
That lasted for the rest of the week until Saturday morning. I was so glad the weekend had arrived and I could sleep in but Fred was calling me back to back no matter how many times I sent him to the voicemail! When did he become so demanding? He was definitely out of line. I picked the phone up in a haste and mumbled the meanest "Hello" I could to let him know I was pissed and still sleepy. However Fred's voice wasn't who I was hearing, it was a females!
"Who is this?" the girl said just as calm as ever like she hadn't been calling all morning.
"I think I should be asking you that, you called my phone, plenty of times might I add!" I told her.
"Well that's because I needed to get to you before Fred woke up, this is his girlfriend" she whispered out.
